So soon???

We made it through PlaMor...even w/Brad's gimp finger.  See, he was attacked by a wild animal but they reattached his finger in time for the show.  (ok, so it wasn't that bad but he did get bit) He did wonderfully and gets employee of October. :)  See Brad?  It's official.
We thought we had most of last weekend off but then Sidetracks asked us to play Friday and Saturday.  Friday wasn't booming so we just went w/that and laid off Saturday but I got to go the Husker volleyball game and Andy went to the football game so it all worked out for us.  PlaMor was the usual.  Lots of dancers and a lot of fun.  It's always nice to play a club where you know you have a big crowd.  Easy to look forward to. 
So I'm wondering what to get my daughter for Christmas.  She will be 16 months by then and has too many toys...any wonderful ideas?  She loves books but has a ton of those too.  I guess the whole reading thing is paying off though.  Today she told me what a duck, cow, cat, dog, bear, sheep and horsey say.  She did not know what a pig said so she went w/roar.  Close enough.  She can tell me where her fingers, toes, eyes, nose, ears, hair and belly are.  She has no idea where her butt is but always points to my boobs...not sure what went wrong there.  You never want to discourage your child from reading but she is a little obsessed.  Last night she woke up at 4 w/ a tummy ache or something and once she started to calm down she asked for a book.  4 a.m. is where I hit my reading limit.  I paid for it today though. She walked around w/a book all day shoving it at me.  I get sick of reading the same books over and over but I'm so proud of my little nerd! :)
 I think I am going to venture out and go for black Friday shopping this year.  Maybe I will find some jewel of a gift then.  I'm a virgin so it will be exciting...and a little scary.
