While I wait for the guys

While I wait for the guys (rehearsal) I’ll try to update a little…

So we’ve been playing and playing and everything is going great! I was perusing through my last blog and I was complaining about my poor puppy Oscar. I must have been fairly moody! I’m such a jerk. Or it could be that lately he has taken to sleeping on Andy’s side of the bed. Hehe. I missed sleeping. :) We were at Ron’s last weekend and again it was a good time! I’m so glad everyone still made it out w/the holiday! (See, it’s a good thing I wished you a happy Easter…I totally missed it!) There were so many people out to Ron’s that I have seen at shows for years but never really had much of a conversation w/until last weekend. It’s so nice to officially meet some of you! I think the conversation starter is my growing belly. Yep…soon we will have to hire a couple muscle men to roll me onto the stage. (It’s the baby, not the donuts…although I’m sure those don’t help at all) Some fairs expressed concerns that I won’t be as mobile. I figure I’m kind of like a top. The guys will take turns giving me a spin and I’ll just roll around the stage until someone is kind enough to give me another twirl. I think that people will actually offer to pay more at the door. I know I would! My only fear is that people will see the posters, arrive and think, “Damn! How long ago were those photos taken?!” It’s amazing what can happen in a few months.

This weekend we are heading back to North Platte to play Shooters. My sister works for Sysco and the only plans she has expressed to me have to do w/feeding me at all the restaurants she sells to. So we might need those muscle men a little sooner than later. But anyway, NP…Erickons! Will we be seeing you out?! It will be fun! I hope so!
